Carbon neutrality Carbon Peak
According to the current process, one ton of activated carbon needs about 2.5 tons of wood chips or nut shells or coal. The production of one ton of activated carbon by weight will increase carbon emissions by 1.5 tons, which is 5.5 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. Therefore, regenerating 10,000 tons of activated carbon can reduce the amount of primary activated carbon by 8,000 tons and indirectly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 44,000 tons. Similarly, the more cycles, the greater the indirect carbon dioxide emission reduction.
Carbon neutrality carbon peaks
Take the treatment of 10,000 tons of activated carbon as an example:
8,000 tons of regenerated activated carbon can be produced in a single time, which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 30,000 tons, which is equivalent to a reduction of 11,766 tons of standard coal carbon emissions. The more cycles, the greater the amount of CO2 emissions. A single regeneration of 10,000 tons of activated carbon can directly and indirectly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by more than 70,000 tons. Counting the number of cycles, it is estimated that carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by more than 150,000 tons.
